Hello, my name is Elizabeth Kiefer and I am a High School History instructor here at Meadow Heights. I wear some other hats currently, as I am also the Yearbook Advisor, a Beta Club Sponsor, and Pep Club Sponsor.
I began my teaching career right here at Meadow Heights in 2015. I am a 2011 alumni of Meadow Heights. I received my Associates of Arts Degree in Education from Mineral Area College in 2013. From there I transferred to Central Methodist University and received my Bachelors of Science in Education in 2015. In May of 2018, I also received a Master’s Degree from Central Methodist University.
My husband Chad and I live in Patton. Chad is a Paramedic in Ste. Genevieve. In our spare time, we own and operate our own farm. We raise and show purebred Katahdin Hair Sheep and have a commercial cattle operation. We have seven awesome dogs: Lyla, Ruby, Duke, Fancy, Baby Blue, Dolly & Luna. Five of which are purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgis, which I also raise and sell.
Other hobbies of mine include spending time with friends and family, showing sheep competitively, horseback riding and traveling.
I cannot wait to see what this year brings and I look forward to seeing everyone on the first day! Feel free to email me with any questions you may have. Below is my schedule for the 2019-2020 school year.
